Idyllic, memorable safari experience 🐆

Pros: Chacma is the perfect place from which to explore the big 5 and the broader SA safari experience. The setting is natural and beautiful with meals eaten outside to make the most of the waterhole and potential for wildlife spotting. Between safari rides comfortable rooms, shady spots across the camp and the pool provide the perfect setting for reading and relaxation. With just three rooms at Chacma, you’re guaranteed a much more intimate experience than staying at a bigger location. As a solo traveller the real highlight was the friendly and fun team behind Chacma: Matt, Josh and Charlie are fantastic, passionate guides who guaranteed that each trip out provided memorable, safe experiences while Karen, Lynx and the wider team at Chacma ensured a comfortable stay. You’ll learn so much from this team and they are only too happy to share their knowledge and experience with you. A special place I can’t wait to return to.

Pros: Fantastic experience with wonderful game drives and a clearly very knowledgeable ranger. Staff were incredibly friendly and it was a really personable experience. It would be fantastic to hire completely as only 3 rooms

Cons: Some choice over meals or per information so that we could notify of changes would be nice especially when travelling with children, most meals were great but it would have been nice to have had more choice with some. Sun downer drinks and water included in the game prices were expected but these were charged extra

Pros: What a unique experience we had! The game rides were amazing, we were incredible lucky seeing herd of elephants and lionesses with 8 cubs within 24 hours. Harry is super knowledgeable and respectful of animals and nature. The accommodation was very nice with amazing food catering for our dietary requirements. Nadine helped to organize a surprise sundowner for my partner's birthday which was a special experience :) Thank you for everything!

Unforgettable

Pros: Unforgettable experience ! Total immersion in the bush, so close to the animals. The game drives were amazing, our guides were so passionate and they taught us so much about the animals. The food was delicious ! We didn’t want leave …

Cons: You are in the nature and insects can come in your room…

Pros: Un moment magique en immersion dans la nature. Le personnel est aux petits soins, la chef cuisine très bien. On s’y sent bien ! Belles explications sur la faune et la flore. Le guide a su répondre à toutes nos questions.

Geweldig

Pros: Geweldige ervaring gehad bij Chacma. Het is een kleinschalige lodge met maar 3 accomodaties. Het personeel is geweldig. Ze doen er alles aan om je het naar de zin te maken. Ook het eten is top. ‘s morgens en ‘s middags doe je een game drive met een ervaren gids die je van alles verteld. Bij twijfel zeker boeken. Intiem en ze denken met je mee. Ook als je vervolgplannen hebt zijn ze meedenkend en welwillend om te helpen.

Pros: La guida che ci ha portato a fare i safari era molto competente, preparata e simpatica. L'intero staff gentilissimo e disponibile.

Pros: Un camp intimiste avec très peu de logements ce qui nous a permis de déjeuner à chaque fois avec le guide qui a été exceptionnel lors de nos safaris . La chambre est parfaite , la nourriture excellente et le personnel est très attentionné . Et les alentours très beaux ! Parfait pour découvrir la nature sud africaine

Pros: Personale fantastico: estremamente gentile e a disposizione per qualsiasi cosa. Il Ranger di nome CHARLIE é stata una persona magnifica e grazie a lui la nostra avventura é stata unica e magica. La camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato aveva la vista diretta sulla pozza d'acqua e abbiamo visto più volte gli elefanti per molto tempo.. Ogni giorno gli elefanti vengono a bere. Da lì abbiamo anche visto il bufalo africano. Cibo ottimo e porzioni abbondanti.

Cons: Niente. Tutto fantastico.

Pros: Un accueil chaleureux dans un campement intimiste (3 logements) Des safaris quotidiens (avec Josh au top...! Connaissant le bush comme sa poche ) en petit groupe, approuvés par les enfants et les adultes. Les repas très appréciés Pleins de petites attentions
