Very beautiful experience!!

Pros: Everythig was very nice. The Place is incredible beautiful.

Cons: Breakfast for the safari.

Nice place to relax with the view of wildlife and possibilities to visit Krugerpark and golfcourse

Pros: Beautiful location on riverbank with wildlife in front of the terraces. Nice large and beautiful de decorated rooms.

Cons: Not much. Would be helpfull to give luch and dinner prices, they are very reasonable!

A feel relaxed place

Pros: Our stay was an absolute delight. Everything was perfect, the staff, the view, the rooms and the food. It is a very nice place to feel relaxed and been taken care off.

Bucket list adventure

Pros: First time ever safari stay and it was like a dream. In many ways a 5 star experience if you measure that I’m a bucket list kind of way. Do not visit thinking it’s a typical 5 star hotel, it’s not - but on the experience of elephants feeding right in front of your balcony and seeing rhinos, hippos across the crocodile river - is better than five stars. The restaurant is amazing - could be Michelin !! And the safari guide was incredible !! The massages were amazing too. Do not miss this special experience. We are so thankful.

Cons: The green fee at Leopard creek for visitors is too high compared to Links and other great courses, where they make it more of ‘an overall experience ‘ for you. They should consider lowering the price or providing a more special tee time ! Fantastic golf course though.

Pros: Location, furnishing, food and above all the staff

AMAZING!

Pros: It’s located on a beautiful place at the Crocodile River. You see the most amazing animals looking from the terrace. They have the most awesome people working there. So friendly, funny and caring. The food and the wine are from high quality and especially the place where you eat is really amazing. We took a safari tour with Connor, he can tell you everything about the animals, the trees, the birds. We had an amazing safari. Thank you Ally, Connor, Bianca and all the other amazing people ❤️.

Cons: Nothing at all. It’s very special!

Pros: You can not take away the view of the place. The elephant suite had amazing facilities like a private pool and a view to die for. With a television and dstv as well as tuen down service with a little sweet surprise every night. Nice touch. The suite was cleaned every day. The safari was amazing. But a little too short for the guide that was well knowledged to explain to foreign tourists the smaller details of the the Kruger. Also, there was not a break to maybe use the toilet facilities for a 4 to 4 and half hour safari. The food is good.

Cons: Ok. For the price (and it is a a lot) that you pay, you will expect that maybe there will be room service, especially in the elephant suite. Maybe breakfast should be served until 11 am and dinner past 8 pm. When you go on holiday, you DO NOT want to rush. You would also maybe like to have breakfast on tour private deck. We did not know there was a lunch service until a day before we left. The communication is not great. Waiters that do not know about the breakfast, lunch, and dinner services of the next day. (I don't think it is their fault, maybe a bit of training, especially over Christmas. Don't expect drinks served in your suite or any other snacks. When asked about a promised snacks for Chrismas day after the lla s chnaged three times, yes Chrismas day, the managing lady Elsa got a bit abrupt and did not speak to us for the rest of the time we were there. Did not even greet. To be honest, I will think twice about going back because of that. The rest of the staff and a lady called Ali did their best to try and accommodate after the Christmas day lunch disaster. You have to ask for the pool to be cleaned, and we were promised ice twice a day. I have stayed in a lot of 5 star places and even lesser star where the friendliness make yih want to come back.

Best hotel ever

Pros: Our stay at Buhala lodge was beyond our expectations, from the place, the small personal touches in every corner, the staff, everything was perfect. We were there for a few days of our honey moon and they even choose a room with views to the river from every corner of the room. If we were to visit SA again this will definitely be one of our stops. Thank you all the staff for your kind attention to each detail or request from us. Alba & Joan

A luxury stay with amazing food at the door of Kruger

Pros: Everything was amazing! The view, the staff, the food was the best we had so far in the country and the safari was great.

Cons: Maybe only the fact we were not told at check in the price of the dinners and felt it was a choice to make without being warned of the value (even though we would have take it anyway, and it was amazing food!)

Nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of the African bush, this lodge is perfect blend of luxury.

Pros: Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and boasted stunning views of the surrounding wildlife.
