Pros: We were a family of 3 including our teenage son and stayed in one of the presidential suites at Karongwe river safari lodge. We had an incredible experience at this safari lodge. The staff wait on yiu hand and foot and are very welcoming and accommodating and kind. I cannot say enough about them. Jonathan, Polly our driver, Eddie our tracker, Maria, Lucas the manager, Nikiwe the masseur. Just everyone! The suite itself is gorgeous and peaceful and has the best view onto the pond with the 4 hippos and is very private (no 9). The programme is very organised woth 2 set game drives daily at 5 am wake up call and 4 pm. You obviously can skip if needed as we did for 1 or 2 of the mornings. Breakfast lunch and dinner are also set times for a smoothe running of the programme. You encounter many wildlife on the grounds as well. I would 100% recommend this safari to anyone.

Amazing lodge to explore the wildlife!
Pros: We loved everything! Amazing lodge and a great location to see wildlife. Worth every penny you pay. From the food to the safaris to the rooms, everything was perfect. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Nothing. Everyrhing was just great

Pros: The food was amazing. The chef is excellent. The stuff is very nice and attentive. Not to mention the game drive it’s amazing to have two a day. Special thanks to Matthew and Forget ! Amazing people to do game drive with ! Lifetime experience !💙
Cons: The water pressure was fluctuating sometimes for shower and the spa / massage wasn’t to my liking fully but can’t fault the kindness of staff tho.

A piece of of paradise made even better because of the staff
Pros: We had all are meals including. They were all delicious, beautifully presented, good variety and the staff always had a smile and friendly conversation. I have several dietary needs that they worked very hard to work with. Our room was beautiful and located on the river, very private with a lovely relaxing view. All the common areas were beautiful, cozy , inviting and lovely views. The Staff for every aspect of our time there were just a constant pleasure. THE BEST PART … SAFARIS… wow What a privilege to view the magnificent animals, birds, insects, trees, scenery and everything Mother nature chose for us to see. And to have the experience with a kind, well trained, caring guide and tracked was truly a blessing. The jeeps are comfortable and the animals are plenty ! Just an experience of a life time. Special thanks to Evens our guide, James our tracker and Johnathan our everything guy. And all the staff that made us feel so welcome, safe and comfortable Thank you all 💕
Cons: The only negative I would say is we found the bed a little uncomfortable for us as a couple. The problem we experienced was it was a king made from 2 bed together and the centre was uncomfortable. If you both stick to a side it was very comfortable. The bedding was lovely. The room was wonderful.

Dream holiday experience!
Pros: Everything! From start to finish the whole experience was nothing short of magical. All the staff were so warm and friendly. The accommodation is far better than the photos show. We will definitely be returning!
Cons: Nothing! It was absolute perfection.
